DO YOU SHARE MY E-MAIL ADDRESS AND/OR OTHER SENSITIVE DATA WITH OTHERS?

No. Customer confidentiality is a top priority at Allstar. No sensitive customer information is stored online or shared.


DOES ALLSTAR ACTUALLY PRODUCE THE AWARDS OR DO YOU USE ANOTHER COMPANY?

Allstar’s designs and sandblasting/engraving is done in house which allows us to maintain complete control over every stage of the production process, ensuring that every award exceeds your expectations.


WHAT IS SANDBLASTING OR SANDCARVING?

Sandblasting/sandcarving (etching) is the act of propelling very fine bits of sand at a high-velocity to deeply etch your text and logo into the crystal or glass. This superior technique of engraving creates markings that are permanent, gives your graphics actual depth, and the overall appearance is crisp and sharp. Sandblasting/sandcarving is superior to laser and other types of engraving. All of our work is done in-house to ensure a consistent and elegant look for your award(s). The terms sandblasting, sandcarving and etching are all interchangeable.


DO ALL AWARDS COME IN PRESENTATION BOXES?

Yes. However, the style of presentation box varies depending on the award.


DO YOU COLOR FILL?

Allstar offers a few choices for color-filling your awards. The beauty and perceived value of crystal and glass awards lend themselves best to the simple and classy sandblasted frosted look; however, we offer color fill option if you prefer. If you choose to add color fill, a charge of $7.50 per color for each piece will apply.


CAN YOU DROP SHIP AWARDS TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS?

Yes. Allstar can drop ship awards to different locations at no additional charge other than the cost of shipping to each location. For orders that require drop shipments, please place order via e-mail, fax or telephone.


CAN YOU SHIP AWARDS ON OUR OWN COURIER ACCOUNT?

No. All orders must be shipped via UPS on Allstar’s account.


ARE ANY TAXES APPLIED TO MY ORDER?

Texas sales tax (8.25%) will be applied for sales to Texas clients. Out of state clients are tax-exempt. Texas tax-exempt organizations (i.e. non-profits and churches) will not be charged Texas sales tax; however, a copy of your organization’s tax exempt form (Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate) must be provided via e-mail or fax.


WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Allstar accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
When providing credit card information for e-mail or fax orders please include: your order number (if known), the type of card (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Discover), the card number, the CVC code (last 3 digits on back, AmEx-4 digits on front), the expiration date, your full name and billing address as it appears on the card. Information regarding your account will be held entirely confidential. When paying by credit card, you will be charged 100% of the amount stated on your receipt as soon as we start working on your order. This secures the merchandise and puts the order into production to be customized.

Purchase Orders and Net 15 Terms:
Allstar reserves the right to grant Net 15 payment terms. If you are granted payment terms, you agree that if you are late paying your invoice, a 10% fee per month may be assessed against all accounts with past due balances. You agree to pay all the company’s reasonable attorney’s fees and all collection agency fees incurred in the collection of any amount owed hereunder and not paid when due.


HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

Our standard lead time for most orders is twelve (12) or more business days from the date your order is placed to the delivery date (the day it arrives in your hands). However, we can accommodate most requests.


WHEN WILL MY PROOFS ARRIVE?

For standard orders, please allow 2-3 business days for your proofs to arrive. For rush orders, please allow 12-48 business hours for your proofs to arrive.


CAN I PRE-ORDER AWARDS TO USE AT A LATER DATE?

Yes. This is referred to as the Allstar Pre-Paid Program. The benefit of the Pre-Paid Program is that you will receive a 15% discount on your order and your awards are in stock and ready for our in-house custom designers to engrave. IMPORTANT: All Pre-Paid Program orders need to be placed via e-mail, fax or telephone. (A minimum order of 10 awards is required to place a Pre-Paid Program order).


DO YOU HAVE MINIMUM ORDERS?

No. There are no minimum order requirements.


DO YOU CHARGE FOR RUSH ORDERS?

No, we do not charge additional for rush orders other than the cost required to get your order shipped into our etching facility as well as any expedited shipping back out to you. You will be notified of approximate shipping costs added to your order.


WHAT IS A RUSH ORDER?

A rush order is an order that allows eleven (11) business days or less for your order to be delivered.


WHAT IS A STANDARD ORDER?

A standard order is an order that allows twelve (12) or more business days for your order to be delivered.


WHAT TYPE OF GRAPHIC FILES DO YOU ACCEPT?

Graphic Requirements:

  • High Resolution Graphics (Also called “Vector-Based” Graphics)
  • Must Be Black and White Vector Graphics (No colors, shades, shadows, etc.)
  • Acceptable Graphic Formats: EPS (.eps) files, Illustrator (.ai) files or CorelDraw (.cdr)
  • Bitmaps are not acceptable: TIFF (.tiff), BMP (.bmp), JPEG (.jpg), PDF (.pdf) – In order to create an elegant engraved finished award, we must begin with high-quality graphics. Vector graphics can easily be resized/scaled to fit the engraving area with no loss of quality or resolution.

We understand that in some cases, graphics are simply not available in high-resolution; therefore, Allstar offers logo clean-up service to transform your graphic into a vector image suitable for production. A $25.00 charge per graphic will be added to clean up any bitmap format file. Crisp sharp graphics are essential for a great finished product.

IMPORTANT: Submitted graphics may contain thin lines and/or reverses which may not reproduce correctly when sandblasted/engraved. Allstar reserves the right to make slight adjustments to graphics in order to make them suitable for production. Submitted graphics are assumed to be to be in full compliance with trademark and copyright laws.


HOW MUCH DOES ENGRAVING/SANDBLASTING COST?

Engraving/etching is free. Your text, logo and personalization are included in our online price. There are no hidden fees! However, if artwork is not provided in the proper form listed under Graphic Requirements in the How To Order Section, a $25 charge per graphic will be added to clean up any bitmap format file. Crisp sharp graphics are essential for a great finished product.
